Liner Notes:
John MacDonald was born in Cromarty, a seaside village the north side of Scotland, and from a very early age showed an aptitude for music. He first developed a keen youngster's interest in the drums, then he progressed to piano, making his ultimate choice of the piano accordion when aged 12.
After schooling John MacDonald was appearing throughout Scotland with touring stage shows, and becoming a regular on Grampian T.V. working in that time with entertainers of the standing of Patrick O'Hagan and Tommy Trinder.
John moved to New Zealand in 1962 and began a series of Club, Radio and T.V. engagements.
John MacDonald crossed the Tasman to Australia in 1967 and, since then, his authentic Scottish Accordion playing has been constantly in demand for live appearances. this album is John MacDonald's first Australian L.P. for M7 Records.

This album came out in 1973. It was advertised a lot on TV in Australia. My father bought it. I don't know why, maybe because he liked accordion music. I thought it was funny. He only played the first side. I found it a couple of years ago in a Salvation Army shop for $1.
So I decided to digitize it. Enjoy.
